Derek Boone is an Information Technology Consultant that works with CEOs, executives, and directors of large enterprises to implement efficient and secure solutions allowing clients to increase profitability, future-proof their business, and provide a world-class customer experience.
When he is not helping clients achieve these goals, he supplements his time by mentoring students and peers, coaching youth basketball, and advocating for career progression through professional development within various capacities. Derek believes that enhancing an individual’s emotional intelligence creates an optimal path to success.
Derek has worked in the Information Technology industry for ten years. He has received multiple forms of recognition for being committed to excellence, an outstanding leader, and serving on Executive Boards. Derek holds a Bachelor of Science from the Bryan School of Business & Economics at the University of North Carolina Greensboro, where he also minored in Spanish with a focus in Marketing.
